EUEI-UNEP Capacity Enhancement and
Mobilisation Action for Energy in Africa (CEMA)

Project website
Knowledge and Information Base KIBESA

CEMA is a joint project of the EU Energy Initiative (EUEI) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), implemented by UNEP DTIE and UNEP Risoe Centre, in collaboration with partner Centres throughout Africa.

The project is a four-year activity designed to support the Africa-EU Energy Partnership. CEMA aims to enhance the dialogue between African and EU stakeholders, particularly at sub-regional level, through targeted policy engagement, special studies, information dissemination and targeted capacity building.

The Knowledge and Information Base for Energy Solutions in Africa (KIBESA) is a wiki-based website, part of CEMA, that allows members sharing information on energy interventions, funding opportunites and energy technologies.
