Cleaner Energy Development

The Cleaner Energy Development programme engages in research on the linkages between the uses of cleaner energy technology and its impact on the climate and development processes. It supports implementation of policies and strategies that provide access to cleaner and more efficient energy technologies to poor people in developing countries. The programme facilitates cleaner energy technology transfer and offers the analytical support necessary to identify and overcome political, institutional and financial barriers to increase use of these technologies.
